Villa La Cala Playa is a fantastic contemporary 5 bedroom property in the very popular resort of La Cala De Mijas, just a stone’s throw from the long sandy beach and a short stroll from the resort centre. Here you can find an array of great restaurants to suit everyone’s tastes. Back at the villa you will have high quality furnishings, a large private pool and 2 living areas – great for families and large groups. Air conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms and both lounges, pool heating plus WiFi are included.

The large private south-facing swimming pool has Roman steps for easy access as well as a ladder. It can be accessed up 4 steps from the seating area in the villa. There is a raised sunbathing terrace to one side and another terrace is opposite. To the side of the villa is a pergola housing a dining table and chairs, plus brick BBQ and outdoor kitchen. This is ideal for alfresco meals. Next to it is a comfortable seating area and artificial lawn. On the ground floor, there is a large double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms which share a separate bathroom with double sinks. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom with a private terrace, which has a seating area. There is a twin bedroom and separate bathroom on this floor too. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated. The main lounge is on the ground floor and revolves around a lovely indoor atrium garden. There is comfortable seating, a flat screen TV and a feature fireplace. Adjacent is a spacious and bright dining area with a table and chairs, plus large windows overlooking the pool which flood this room with natural light. From here you can access a seating room – another great place to chill out – which also has access to the pool area. The contemporary and well-equipped kitchen has a separate exit out to the rear of the villa.
On the first floor, there is a second lounge with sea views and a separate small dining area, plus a convenient small kitchen. This is great for families or couples travelling together who want a degree of independence.
Between the ground floor lounge and dining room, you will find a set of steps going down into a large games room which is located under the outside pool terrace. It has an unusual window feature, goldfish bowl effect looking into the pool from underwater.

The Payment for your reservation can be made either immediately or in two convenient installments:
First Installment: Secure your booking by paying 50% of the total amount within two days of making the reservation.
Second Installment: Complete your payment by settling the remaining 50% of the total amount, and this is due no later than 45 days before your anticipated arrival.
Please note that full payment will be required if booking within 10 weeks of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:
100% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 45 days before the scheduled arrival.
80% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival.
70% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 10 days before the scheduled arrival.
Flexible Bookings:
Up to 3 Days After Booking: Enjoy a three-day 'cooling-off period' after booking your villa, available until 12 weeks before your arrival. If your plans change during this period, we'll provide you with a voucher valid for 2 weeks, ensuring the protection of your deposit until you're ready to rebook.
Prior to 12 Weeks Before Arrival: Need to change your travel dates, the villa itself, or even your destination? No problem! You have the flexibility to do so. Upon payment of the balance, you will receive a voucher code equivalent to the booking value, valid for two weeks. This allows you to easily book a new villa online to match your new plans.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Your comfort is important to us. Therefore, we offer flexibility in check-in and check-out times:
Check-in time is at 14:00 on your arrival date.
Check-out time is at 12:00 on your departure date.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. If early check-in and late check-out options are not available, you may be able to store your suitcases at the property. This way, you can explore or relax without worrying about them. The property manager will inform you of this at the time of check-in or check-out.
