Along with one of the villa’s five splendid bedrooms, the living room and dining room form a U shape around a delightful outdoor seating area, shaded by a timber framed canopy and with both a ramp and steps leading down to the fabulous walled poolside area.

Creative use of space has facilitated a unique private pool with a swan-style fountain, in-pool bench seat and a swimming channel running alongside the house. A gently sloping ramp with handrail allows for easy access to the water while sun lovers will appreciate the lovely teak loungers around the pool.

A brick-built barbecue and sink unit in one corner provides all you need for some simple outdoor cooking – sizzling steaks, flavourful sardines or the catch of the day from the market, washed down with an ice cold beverage. A charming timber and bamboo gazebo houses a large dining table so guests can linger in the shade over a leisurely lunch.

The bedrooms at Villa Kamelia have been individually styled with thoughtful attention to detail. On the ground floor is an enchanting double with a four-poster bed, a pretty twin bedded room and a third sporting bunkbeds that will delight younger guests. Two superb shower rooms, one en suite to the double room, incorporate hydromassage showers and modern vanity units with twin washbasins.

Upstairs, two sumptuous en suite rooms complete the picture, one boasting a four-poster bed and a hydromassage shower, the other with a Jacuzzi bath.
