Villa Barbara is a Spanish designed 5 bedroom property with a large private pool, extensive lawned garden and classical decor throughout. There are also several areas for dining alfresco in this fabulous setting. The villa is located close to Mijas Village and Fuengirola in the urbanisation of Villa Barbara. There are shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants just a few minutes’ drive away or no more than a 20 minute walk.
The large swimming pool has Roman steps for easy access and a ladder at the deeper end. It is set in attractive gardens – a great setting for relaxing with a good book or admiring the surrounding countryside. You will be spoilt for choice for outdoor dining and enjoying the food cooked on your own brick BBQ. To the far side of the garden, beyond the pool there is a raised terrace with a table and chairs and chill out seating area. Greenery entwining around the pergola above, creates welcome natural shade. At the side of the villa there is a second dining table with chairs under the covered terrace. If that wasn’t enough a third dining area is provided under a pergola by the pool too.
The entrance to the villa is via a pedestrian gate and through the larger gates leading into the driveway. There is plenty of space on the driveway for 3 to 4 cars. Steps lead up to the front porch and door.
The open plan living area includes a well-furnished lounge with wood panelled ceiling, comfortable seating and a flat screen TV. Patio doors open onto a covered terrace overlooking the garden, to the side of the pool. To one side of the room is a dining area with table and chairs where you can enjoy a meal after a lazy day spent by the pool. The kitchen area is modern, bright and fully equipped. It has a central island with stools and a separate table and chairs where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast.
On the ground floor there is 1 double room with an en suite bathroom, and 2 twin bedrooms, one with an en suite shower and the other an en suite bathroom. There is also a separate WC. Upstairs, on the first floor, there are 2 large double bedrooms, sharing the adjacent bathroom.

The Payment for your reservation can be made either immediately or in two convenient installments:
First Installment: Secure your booking by paying 50% of the total amount within two days of making the reservation.
Second Installment: Complete your payment by settling the remaining 50% of the total amount, and this is due no later than 45 days before your anticipated arrival.
Please note that full payment will be required if booking within 10 weeks of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:
100% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 45 days before the scheduled arrival.
80% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival.
70% refund if canceled from the booking date up to 10 days before the scheduled arrival.
Flexible Bookings:
Up to 3 Days After Booking: Enjoy a three-day 'cooling-off period' after booking your villa, available until 12 weeks before your arrival. If your plans change during this period, we'll provide you with a voucher valid for 2 weeks, ensuring the protection of your deposit until you're ready to rebook.
Prior to 12 Weeks Before Arrival: Need to change your travel dates, the villa itself, or even your destination? No problem! You have the flexibility to do so. Upon payment of the balance, you will receive a voucher code equivalent to the booking value, valid for two weeks. This allows you to easily book a new villa online to match your new plans.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Your comfort is important to us. Therefore, we offer flexibility in check-in and check-out times:
Check-in time is at 14:00 on your arrival date.
Check-out time is at 12:00 on your departure date.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. If early check-in and late check-out options are not available, you may be able to store your suitcases at the property. This way, you can explore or relax without worrying about them. The property manager will inform you of this at the time of check-in or check-out.

Villa Barbara is the ideal place for outdoor dining and relaxation. We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful pool, gardens, and multiple dining spots. The wood panelled ceiling in the living area gave it a touch of elegance. A lovely Spanish retreat!
Our stay at Villa Barbara was a true Spanish escape. The classical decor, expansive garden, and large pool made us feel like we were in our private oasis. We loved dining alfresco in the various charming areas, and the surrounding countryside added to the serenity.
Our family have just enjoyed a relaxing stay at this villa. Although it is in a great location, we found the villa to be really nice, which was just what we wanted. We spent most days around the lovely pool area relaxing and playing a bit of pool volleyball. The villa is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.
The villa was spacious, and well equipped with a great pool and patio area, ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break away from noise and crowds. Great stereo sound system and lots of TV channels (if that’s your thing!). Recommended highly! Would love to go back for longer next time.
We wanted to find the perfect place for our family reunion… and we couldn’t have asked for anything more idyllic. The villa is absolutely spectacular – from the magnificent driveway and grounds, through to the spacious, beautifully decorated, bright and comfortable home. The pool is great in the summer heat, and the furnishings make you feel like you’re in a 5* hotel. There is a huge terrace, perfect for eating together and watching the sunset (or sunrise for breakfast!) – you do not want to miss them. There’s something for everyone, from children to grandparents. We rented cars, but we can’t say we left much, the villa was hard to tear yourself away from. If we could give this property more than 5 stars, we would. Truly amazing. Thank you for taking care of us during a glorious week at your stunning home. We have nothing to complain about, other than wanting to have stayed for longer!
